General Assistant- Woodleigh

Daily shifts between 4 hours to 9 hours starting from 8.00am to 17.00pm

Job Purpose:

To ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our residents and staff, we are looking for you to support with cleaning, laundry and assisting in the kitchen. Working independently and collaboratively with other team members to ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard.

This is a varied role, where you will be expected to support in the various areas throughout the day, working collaboratively with other team members, to ensure all areas are maintained to a high and safe standard.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning resident lounges to a high standard

• Deep cleaning of resident bedrooms, bathrooms including linen changes, windows

• Maintaining cleanliness of guest toilets, ensuring they are fully stocked

• Laundry Support for approx. 2 hours per shift ensuring residents’ laundry is handled with care and returned to their rooms promptly

• Kitchen supporting the Cook until 9.30am with breakfast service food preparation, plating up meals and washing up

• Person Specification:

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable with a varied role, that includes cleaning, laundry, and kitchen work

• Friendly and respectful toward residents and colleagues

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Daily shifts between 4 hours to 9 hours starting from 8.00am to 17.00pm
