Lynn* has been a resident at Woodleigh since October 2022. When Lynn first came to stay, she was very nervous about almost everything, she suffered from anxiety and had a fear of falling.
Lynn did not believe that she could do anything for herself and did not like to be in bed on her own at night in particular. She required support with all of her daily living tasks and a lot of emotional support too.
With time, empathy, understanding, support and encouragement from our dedicated staff team at Woodleigh, Lynn has gained the confidence and courage to be as independent as she is today and has made some lovely friendships on the way.
With some positive risk-taking, Lynn has changed her life, with remarkable, positive outcomes.
